Campbells Merchant Prince Muscat is made from the Muscat à Petits Grains red grape, known locally as Rutherglen Brown Muscat, grown in Campbells estate vineyards.

The fruit is left to ripen on the vine as late as possible. The grapes ferment for only a short time before being fortified with neutral spirit and stored in oak to mature.

Only the very best fruit from the finest vintages can be used in the blend. The Merchant Prince Muscat Solera dates back to the 1940s. The wine is bottled in tiny quantities each year.
